A home, office, factory, hotel and real-estate development are not simply different sizes of the same space. Each has different users, movements, activities, services, constraints and decision-makers. A useful Vastu review must understand those differences before applying principles.
Purpose Changes Priority
In a home, family use, rest, privacy and daily routines may be central. A commercial property adds customer flow, teams and business functions. An industrial facility may depend on process sequence, machinery, utilities, material movement, fire safety and future expansion. A hotel or development introduces several buildings, public areas, services and phased planning.
Direction Is One Part of the Review
Direction remains important, but it must be examined with activity, proportions, access, circulation and the relationship of the five elements—Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. Elemental clashes can be significant, particularly where an activity and its spatial placement work against each other.
Planning Stage Matters
The greatest flexibility usually exists before a layout is frozen. During construction, priorities shift towards feasible coordination. In an occupied property, recommendations must respect existing structure, services, costs and disruption. This is why the same observation may lead to a different practical recommendation at a different project stage.
