Planet Transits

Planets Transit (Gochar) – Date Time Significance

Planetary transits are particularly important in Vedic astrology since they are the main tool for foretelling changes and advances in life. Vedic astrology takes into account nine major planets: the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu.

Sun: Sun transits are important because the Sun reveals the circumstances around a person’s birth planet at this time. Before moving on to the next sign, the Sun spends approximately a month in each one, and it takes the Sun about a year to round the whole zodiac.

Moon: The first, third, sixth, tenth, and eleventh houses from the location of your natal Moon in your horoscope are all affected favourably by the planet Moon transit. About the remaining ones, you may have a range of outcomes or encounter difficulties in practically every area of your life.

Mercury (Budh): In Vedic Astrology, Mercury’s transit duration is the shortest. Ashlesha, Jyeshtha, and Revati Nakshatras are ruled by Mercury.

Mercury’s interaction with the Sun opens the door for the Budhaditya Yog, which strengthens one’s intellect and boosts one’s desire for learning.

Saturn: Transits and cycles of Saturn might be viewed as maturational and productive cycles. These times in our life might genuinely seem educational. Everything is moving slowly; we experience pressure, delays, and annoyances. Yet these times also force us to confront the facts, which give us a lot of insight and even freedom.

  • Kumbha: January 17, 2023, Tuesday at 08:02 PM Saturn is transiting in Kumbha Rashi

Rahu: Only in the third, sixth, tenth and eleventh houses is Rahu transit seen favourably. Rahu’s passage in the other houses, particularly the second, fourth, and eighth, creates problems. Although Rahu is a node of the moon, its transit should be interpreted parallel since it is closest to Vimshottari Dasha. Rahu transit over the number 22 or the 64th drekkana might be fatal.

  • Rahu is transiting in Mesha rashi: 17 march 2022 to 28 Nov 2023
  • Rahu transits to Meena Rashi November 29, 2023, Wednesday at 12:46 AM

Ketu: Although being a fictitious planet, Ketu, also known as the South Node of the Moon, is a strong planet that has a direct impact on the native’s soul. The Dragon’s Tail’s passage through a zodiac sign can have both favourable and unfavourable effects. If so, you will achieve salvation and heavenly insight.

  • Ketu is transiting in Tula rashi: 17 march 2022 to 28 Nov 2023
  • Ketu transits to Kanya Kanya: November 29, 2023, Wednesday at 12:46 AM

Arun transit: In 2023, Uranus would not be in transit.

Neptune is transiting in Meena Rashi

Eclipse: An eclipse is a celestial event where one celestial body, such as the Moon or a planet, moves into the shadow of another celestial body, such as the Earth or the Sun, causing a temporary decrease or complete absence of light. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, blocking the sunlight and casting a shadow on Earth. A lunar eclipse happens when the Earth moves between the Sun and the Moon, casting a shadow on the Moon.

Eclipses have been studied and observed for centuries and have played an important role in shaping our understanding of astronomy and the universe.

Planet Conjunction: A planet conjunction is a fascinating celestial event where two or more planets appear very close together in the night sky, creating a beautiful and unique visual display. This happens when the orbits of two or more planets align, bringing them into close proximity with each other. The brightness and visibility of the planets during a conjunction can vary depending on the planets involved, their distance from Earth, and the time of day or night.

Planet conjunctions occur periodically and can be observed with the naked eye or with the aid of a telescope. These rare events offer a glimpse into the intricate movements and relationships of the planets in our solar system.
